My "mission" is to figure out where we came from in Germany and hopefully go there. It's been family legend that we originated in Offenbach, Germany but I'd like to find out if that's really so. Christian Hilliard did not join the Confederate army. He was too young... and and was, in fact, a hard-core republican after the war.
