It’s that time of year again… I’ve reached the middle of the semester and with the thesis due in mid-April, things are going to slow down here (and in Southern Unionists Chronicles and the rest of the micro-blogs) quite a bit until that gets completed. There will be, in all likelihood, no posts next week, but I do hope to get out maybe one or two posts a week from March 16 through April 22. Until then, please feel free to browse around here and in the micro-blogs.

Best of luck! I think this time of year can get a little hectic for all bloggers who are connected to education.

Thanks Greg! Fortunately, I didn’t have mid-terms this semester and I only have one class to tackle this semester along with the thesis. Two months from Sunday is graduation!

I thought it was “awwwwwww-hawwwwww…. San Antone….” Least that’s the way they did it in Rio Grande… OK, now I’m craving a fine San Antonio strip… far better than any New York strip that I ever ate. Of course, that fine steak was had only on the River Walk in San Antonio….

Bob Wills…I’m impressed. Finding a good steak in Texas is like finding a good Bordeaux in France, you don’t have to look too far. I live about an hour and a half from “Cowtown” — Fort Worth. A lot of good steak houses there!

I know what you’re talking about! Hang in there, it always gets better. When you’re done, are you publishing your thesis?

Hi Mark,
Thanks! Funny thing about it is, when I entered this grad program I swore I wouldn’t put myself through the rigors of doing a thesis again, so, I opted for the practicum instead. Something made me change my mind over Christmas break and bam! I’m back to doing a thesis again. I guess I’m either a glutton for punishment or I just love writing about theory. Once I’m done with it, I might continue to write some additional chapters to make it into something bigger. The subject matter is something that hasn’t seen much action in the publishing arena.

I’ve slowed down myself on Clio and Me, but for other reasons. Work has to happen. Good luck with the thesis.

Thanks Mark. That “work” thing always spoils the fun!

Best of luck with finishing the thesis. The slow-down will make the posts that appear all the more welcome.
