Back from two weeks in New England

Just getting back from a two week run through New England (with lengthy stops in the Boston area, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and the area around Saratoga, NY). Had a great time… and a few chances here and there to think about the memory of the American Revolution in comparison to memory of the Civil War. One of the highlights of the vacation was the visit to Saratoga where at least two of my Hessian ancestors were captured. Will post more on this later.
