Thanks. I was just wondering because my family just bought a farm on Paul Ln. Some people call it the old Johnny Shuler farm. There's an old house and barn on it. The barn is huge and looks like it's 1850's type constuction. It needs a lot of work and we was thinking about checking on rather or not it would be considered a historic barn so we could recieve tax credits to restore it. It's the 2nd farm on Paul Ln... 170 acers. You know anything about this farm? I'm guessing Johnny Shuler was a different guy.

I'm not positive, but for some reason, I thought that the old John Shuler place (which was torn down sometime during the 50s or 60s) was on the west side of the south end of the Grove Hill River Bridge. If you know more details, I'd be interested in hearing them. I also know that there was a graveyard at the old Shuler homeplace, but bodies (such as the body of Capt. Michael Shuler) were removed to the Lutheran Church.
